Why we opened The Dog Meadow.
Meet the inspiration for The Dog Meadow – our two dogs, Digby and Floki. The best of friends, these two playful young hound mixes have bags of energy, high prey drive and poor recall!
Digby is the friendliest, most sociable dog who just loves to sniff and meet everybody and everything.
Floki is extremely loving, but gets easily over excited and is lead reactive, so he is happiest at home and in quiet places.
Both love to run free and play, but it was tricky for us to find a large, quiet and secure space to allow them to do this safely, so the idea for The Dog Meadow was born.
We hope that your dogs enjoy The Dog Meadow as much as Digby, Floki and we do!

A PLACE FOR REACTIVE, NERVOUS AND ENERGETIC DOGS
We built The Dog Meadow with dogs like Floki and Digby in mind. Dogs who love running free and getting lots of exercise without the worry of unwanted interactions with other dogs. Whether your dog is reactive or nervous around other dogs, or you just want them to run around off lead – without fear of them running too far – then The Dog Meadow is for you. Spread over 2 acres of lovely, lush grass enclosed by a 6-foot-tall fence, it contains dog play equipment and a cosy hut for making tea or coffee (and getting out of the rain). Set in trees on the edge of Magheralin, less than 10 minutes from Lurgan and Moira, we think it couldn’t be more perfect!

Just The Facts
The Dog Meadow is open from 9am until Dusk 7 days a week. It is bookable in 50 minute sessions at £12 per session for up to two dogs, Monday to Friday; and at £15 per session on Saturday and Sunday. Each additional dog is £2 up to a maximum of 8 dogs.
10% discount is available with 4 or more bookings.
Facilities
Two acres grass field with large trees
6ft high fencing.
Dog agility equipment including a tunnel, jumps, tyres and a plank walk.
Dog waste bags and plenty of bins.
Dog and boot-washing area.
A shelter for humans to relax with a cuppa. Hot and cold water, fridge, kettle and refreshment making equipment are provided.
